Tales from the Departed kicks off on Saturday, October 1st from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Richmond’s history is endlessly interesting, and visitors to the cemetery on that day can meet some of the people who helped make that history. This year we will highlight members of the Gennett family in honor of our newest exhibit Gennett Records: The Birthplace of American Recorded Music. Other characters from Richmond’s past will be on hand to help tell the story of Richmond of the 1920s and beyond. Come out and enjoy a walk around a beautiful cemetery and meet some interesting personalities from Richmond’s past.This year’s lineup includes: Mr. and Mrs. John M.
