Come out and help the Richmond Parks Department clean up Glen Miller Park of trash and invasive species! Glen Miller is the largest and most popular of Richmond's parks, but it needs your help in order to remain a clean and prosperous location for recreation and fun! This event will occur on multiple days including Friday, September 24 from 10am-3pm, Saturday, September 25 from 9am-12pm, Friday, October 22 from 10am-3pm, and Saturday, October 23 from 9am-12pm. Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome.Volunteers are encouraged to sign up online at parks.richmondindiana.gov and must check in at the Glen Miller Spring 30 min.-1 hour prior to the start of the event. A map will be posted in the event discussion.We will provide tools and trash bags — please bring your own gloves (if you want them). Closed-toe shoes will be required. Snacks and water will be provided!Social distancing and other prevention measures will be in place to stop the spread of COVID-19.
