Bring the family and friends to Cope Environmental Center for: SUGAR BUSH HIKE & PANCAKE BREAKFAST: 9:00 a.m.. Family Maple Syrup Day is an annual event set during maple syrup tapping season here at Cope Environmental Center. On Saturday, March 11, we will be hosting a sugar bush hike detailing the process of making maple syrup and the history of maple syrup making! Come experience the art of maple syrup making as we relive how pioneers and Native Americans harvested this sweet sticky treat from trees years ago. Then, join us afterward for a pancake breakfast using our homemade maple syrup! Maple Syrup Day Program (Sugar Bush Hike & Pancake Breakfast) Starts at 9:00am. Admission: Non-Members; $10 for adults and $8 for children and Members; $8 for adults and $6 for children. Pancake Breakfast (Meal Only) Between 9:00am - 11:30am: Non-Members; $8 for adults and $6 for children and Members; $4 for adults and $2 for children. Registration is required in advance.
