By holding our second Evening of Hope Butterfly Release event, A Better Way continues the tradition started by The Secret Ingredient and Jeanne Rush.  This year, A Better Way will be at the beautiful Richmond Rose Garden in Glen Miller Park to keep the tradition alive. Proceeds will support A Better Way programs, including a crisis line, shelter, assessments, advocacy, goal setting, support groups, domestic violence education, safety planning, children’s programs and transportation for survivors of domestic violence, family violence, dating violence and sexual assault.  A Better Way also provides suicide prevention services by hotline, chat and text.In addition to the butterfly release at the rose garden, our event will also include a silent auction, live music, wine/beer and light hors d’oeuvres & desserts As an event attendee, you will receive one butterfly in honor of someone special in your life, past or present, or someone who has made a difference in our community. Attending the event will cost $30 per person. Each ticket includes one butterfly. To honor more than one person, pay $15 per honoree in addition to the ticket price. All honoree names will be displayed at the event.
