DOI is looking forward to sharing laughter and good times with our wonderful community! Our 9pm show removes our filter from the more family-friendly content at 7pm and lets our troupe have the freedom to go just about anywhere they want (almost). While this performance could and often does contain adult language and choices, and some good natured ribbing at times, we NEVER want to get into content that is harmful in nature to anyone. We want our shows to be a place for everyone (audience and performers alike) to feel safe as well as entertained. And if we get a little salty in the process...it's all in good fun. If you are new to this kind of show, improv comedy can be about as fun of a performance you can attend! Our host will ask the audience for some suggestions (some simple, some complex) at the beginning of each short scene that can last anywhere from two to six minutes. "Name an occupation," "What did you eat for lunch today?" or even something as simple as "What's your favorite color?" are examples of what you the audience will be asked to give our performers the building blocks for a scene. If you've ever heard of the TV show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" - that's what we do! And it is all kinds of fun! But we will never call on someone from the audience to do or say anything. We ask for information voluntarily. Your level of participation is up to you. Just come and have a good time. The show will last about 60 minutes. And we have a catered bartender on site for every show!!! Doors open at 8:30pm. General admission seating.
