FREE Concert!Cross-country cyclist, non-violence advocate, inestimable multi-instrumentalist, prolific writer, and insatiable reader of poetry--Aaron Nell is a man of many talents and passionate interests. With the release of his full-length album, Bridge, Swale, & Hollow (2021), Nell gives us our first glimpse of his impressive songwriting, accompanied by contributions from several Richmond area musicians and produced by Craig Wynne.Aaron is known throughout the region for his compelling musicianship, deftly wielding a cadre of instruments that range from trumpet and fiddle to accordion and penny whistle. He has performed with an ever-growing list of bands, including Tin Cup, Blackthorn’s Bards, Achilles Tenderloin, The Lucky Devils, Patchwork Moonlight, Bigfoot Yancey, The Deep End, and The Precious Furies, as well as solo artists Sharon Lane and Megan Eversole, just to name a handful of familiar favorites.This concert is coordinated by Joe Augustin who helps introduce cherished musicians to our local community!
This concert will take place either in the outdoor Historic Courtyard (weather permitting) or in the indoor Bard Room, will have a limit on the number of participants (first come, first served), and will follow all current Covid protocols (contact MRL for the most current procedures).
